March 10, 2018: The Day When God Danced.

Isaiah 62:5 (NIV)
5  As a young man marries a maiden, so will your sons marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you.

Zephaniah 3:17 (NIV)
17  The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.”

A few weeks ago I had a conversation with someone who has been a believer in Christ for several years.  They have traveled over the world in their occupation and they have sought to make Christ known through every possible avenue they could.  Our conversation went something like this, “I have followed Christ for years but I still find myself falling prey to temptation that I thought I would be over by now.  What must God think of me since it seems all I do is struggle against the flesh all the time?”

My response was, “I have good news for you.  Listen to what God thinks about you as his child.”

I shared with him the text in front of you on this page.  Can you possibly imagine that God delight in you to such a point that he really does sing over you?  He really does rejoice over you like a bridegroom does his bride.

His love for you is like that of his love for his own dear son.  He knows that you are frail and weak.  He understands the temptations that comes your way.  He identifies so completely with you that he is moved with compassion as he draws close to you when you fall.  He does not come to condemn but to save and rescue and restore.

Dear saint do not allow your falling to keep you from returning to your great God and Savior Jesus Christ with every fall you take.  He can and will receive every one of his erring children if they only repent and turn to him.

Today is a good day to repent and turn to Him once again,
